DECOLONIZE YOUR HOME TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

By registering for and attending the Decolonize Your Home membership program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Non-refundable Membership: All membership fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for any reason. You can cancel your registration at any time.
2. Attendance Policy: Attendees are expected to arrive on time and participate fully in all scheduled sessions and activities throughout the membership.
3. Photography and Videography Consent: By attending the sessions, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded on video. You agree that Yvettes’s Light may use any photographs, videos, or other recordings of you taken during the session for commercial purposes, including but not limited to marketing materials, social media posts, and promotional content.
4. Disparagement Clause: You agree not to disparage Yvette’s Light, its organizers, sponsors, speakers, or any other attendees before, during, or after the membership. This includes but is not limited to making negative comments or remarks on social media, in public forums, or to other individuals.
5. Liability Waiver: Members understand and acknowledge that participation in the membership may involve certain risks and hazards. By being a member, you voluntarily assume all risks related to such participation and agree to release Yvette’s Light, its organizers, sponsors, and speakers from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss that may occur during the membership.
6. Code of Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times during the membership. Any behavior deemed disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate by the organizers may result in immediate removal from the membership without refund.
7. Changes to Schedule or Content: Yvette’s Light reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, content, speakers, or any other aspect of the membership without prior notice.
8. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
9. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, the Event, or any breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by an arbitrator appointed by Yvette’s Light. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect. The arbitration shall take place in New York State and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon all parties. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses associated with the arbitration proceedings.

By registering for and becoming a member of Decolonize Your Home, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
